SEC Speed I noticed there is no SEC superior defense narrative on ESPN.

Anyone else notice there hasn't been much talk about the superior SEC defenses this bowl season? Now that a few have played and have given up a lot of points and yards to other leagues.

5 teams have played now and the least amount of points given up was 24 by Vanderbilt and they still gave up 424 yards to NcState.

I do expect someone will say something about it tonight though, with this Louisville/UF game in the Sugar bowl.

Just interesting that it is being swept under the rug right now, very telling.

BTW, aTm finished with a worse defensive rating than all the SEC teams that will play in bowls this year. Only the ones that didn't make a bowl game had a worse defense.

Probably saving their best defensive performance for OU.

I think they've got it covered in their promo on ESPN Radio by saying something along the lines of "Notre Dame is 12-0 but have yet to play an SEC team . . . ."

I've been waiting for someone to bring up a/m's 80th ranked p**** (against the sec!) and 59th overall defense.
OU has a real chance to give these guys a taste of their own no huddle medicine.
They are giving up 248 passing yds a game to OU's 198.

They're waiting to see what happens with Bama. If Bama shuts down ND it will be relentless until next season.

True. Didn't think of them as signature, but after this game it might as well be.
