    Pizza - Tuls****

Halp. I need a pizza place in Tulsa for a couple of hours on Saturday that is NOT Incredible Pizza, Mazzios, Pizza Hut, other chains, crazy expensive, or Savastano's. We (4 adults, one 14 yo) need to be able to sit, talk, & eat for a couple of hours - it doesn't need to be quiet, but not overstimulating either. Anything??

Joe Mommas NOT over stimulating? Hmmm.... Maybe Marios or Marleys depending on where in town you will be.

Upstairs at Savastanos usually isn't too noisy. It is also damn good, so I'm going to pretend you didn't say no to it already.

No thoughts on ordering the pizza to be delivered at your home? Or does it really need to be out? I've kicked everyone out of my home before to have a serious conversation with a select few and ordered the pizza.

My kid said it's fancy pizza & she doesn't want fancy pizza. Im trying to control all of the variables I can here so we can focus on what we're going for.

    So. Is it fancy pizza?

I dont think so, they have a great deep dish selection, but an even better thin crust ( i prefer the Wrigley field). They also have a good salad bar (a rare find since steak and ale went **** up).

But it is really just a pizza place, however, you should focus on the kiddo as you said...there is a hideaway in the same area, and like 5 other places.

This is the correct answer about being the correct answer. But if that is still too fancy... just go to Hideaway.

It's not a serious conversation, but I want to be able to keep a fairly narrow focus if possible.

Well, hopefully this is the first of several of these lil meetings, so the next ones will be more adventuresome. I think right now we just have some nerves. Thanks bunches.

Andolini's would be my first choice. Hidaway or Joe Mammas next. I didn't care for Marley's either time we went. It really depends on which side of town you are going to be on.

Depends. You have to spin the wheel. Last time I was there, free meal for four. Maybe it's just in the Norman location.

Andolini's is on Cherry Street. And if the pizza is too "fancy" when you get there, there is a Hideaway across the street.

    Tulsa Pizza places

La Roma at 61st and Sheridan has great pizza and has the hole in the wall feel. The owners are extremely nice. This would be my top recommendation. They also have some very good Lebanese food.

I think we need more information on the conversation topic in order to steer you towards the proper pizza place.

Andolini's, Savastano's, or Gusano's. Joe Momma's is for the homeless people downtown.

I think I've heard of that. Is it a personal pizza kind of thing? (She doesn't want fancy pizza. She'd have Mtn Dew & hot fries for every meal if someone would let her.)

Pie Hole and Umberto's are options if they like NY style. They are both hole in the wall joints.

Yes. Every pizza is personal size and you go down the line like at Subway and pick all your toppings. One price for everything. It's not that bad all things considered and they do get their sausage from Siegi's I believe.

its not fancy at all they cook your pizza while you stand in line. You tell them what you want on your pizza they put it on while your in line and send cook it. Really quick on getting your pizza as well. The drink machine is pretty cool as well. They have a ****e load of sodas you can choose from. My kidos got a cheese pizza and I got a straight peperoni pizza. They will make anything you want and tasted pretty good as well.

Andolini's = overrated. It's the hot place to go because it's on Cherry Street.
    Mario's, Umberto's, Pie Hole, NYC.

If she doesn't want Savastano's because it's fancy pizza, she won't want Marley's. Besides, if you're going for Chicago, just go to Savastano's. Marley's and Gusano's don't hold a candle to Savastano's.
