Side note: Chia seed and cottage cheese are incompatible. Just...no. Not sure why I thought to even try it.

I hardly ever eat out anymore. Even if you just eat lunch somewhere every day that's what - 40$ easy? You can make that go a long way at the grocery store.

We don't really have those around her. There are some Mexican places - especially in KCK - that have similar food. My weakness is once everty two weeks going to Mongolian BBQ/Genghis Khan.

Salad and a water. I drank at least 2 gallons of beer this weekend so I gotta cut down on the calories this week.

I worked with a guy at Costco that used to bring his mother's tamales to work to sell. They were the schnitz. I had an old GF that whose family would have these big dinners all the time and everyone would bring a dish. I've neve had any better Hispanic fare than that.

I agree! Let's say you go to chick fil a, firehouse, subway and those places like that 5 times a week and then go out to eat on either friday night or saturday, you could easily be talking in the $60-$70 range of eating out during the week, especially if you get alcohol on the friday night or saturday. So I have cut my eating out to just Friday and Saturday nights.

I have started to cook a lot of meals in the crock pot. Some basic stuff, but I can spend $12 and make it last three dinners. Not too bad!
