First, to say we are the "laughingstock of college football" is ****ing stupid.
Second, I think it would be best for Bob to move on. I think it would be best for both OU and Bob. For whatever reason, things have gotten stale. Do I think Bob should be fired? No. But I think he either needs to have a massive staff shakeup or move on to a different job and a fresh start.

So do I. I played for Blake. He was an embarrassment. I also played for stoops when there was accountability and hard work. Not coddling. This is sad.

Ou isn't considered a powerhouse outside of big 12 country, most have labelled us as over rated and unable to win big games so we aren't even in the same breath as the top tier programs

I see teams beating us and laughing on the sidelines all the time. Started in the USC game and hasn't stopped. The whole country laughed at us after Boise and it's gotten worse.

You can't be laughing stock bad when nobody even cares/knows you exist anymore. We went beyond laughing stock in the 90's to irrelivent. Since we have been relevant again, we are as close to a national laughing stock as you can get right now. Get outside the myopic world of Norman/OKC/OU football and our reputation is fading FAST if it's not gone already.
Maybe I'm arguing semantics here but we are the paper tiger of college football. Call it laughing stock, overrated, soft, I don't care. It's just not good.

I've been at my job for 13+ years, always highly rated, promoted, etc. I've now been just going through the motions as of late, lost the edge, hard to keep motivated. It just comes with the territory. I've lost the fire in my belly, and need a change of scenery. It just comes with the territory. Its hard as heck to keep going at anything for an extended length of time.

We've talked about this before. I've worked for three large companies, one with over 100,000 employees and another with 80K and $50 billion in gross sales. The guys at the top come and go; organizations have to re-invent themselves with new ideas, leadership, and direction. Three things will happen - clean house, move on, or keep declining. I'd like to see a little house cleaning at OU.

So what is three days going to change? It's not going to make this crap sandwich taste like roast beef.
Outside the Big 12? Tech, Baylor, OSU, etc., know beating us isn't this once in a lifetime event that it once was. They now know that we will just as easily roll over and quit - even at home. A$M is still a Big 12 team and they were faster than us at every spot on the field tonight. How often did that used to happen? Now without our superior talent our lack of preperation and in game execution just makes it worse? How many other schools would Finch not see the light of day?
