    Johnny Manziel at Winstar

Had a few former co-workers at Winstar Telling me Johnny Manziel was there with a lot of money yesterday. Looked it up and sure enough...

Edit: I don't really think it is an issue, just think it is a bit arrogant to be flashing cash like that after the NBA stuff.

I'm surprised he had the energy to go gambling after doing all that running the night before. He must be in good shape.

I hope to God it isn't an issue... were Oklahoma players allowed in to Riverwind when it was 18+?

I have never worked there to know if they show up or not. I would think if anything the team would not want them taking pictures of them holding cash there.
I bring it up more because of the attention he is bringing himself. I do not think any program wants the NCAA sniffing around and stuff like this causes that.

The NCAA are ****s about so much that you'd think they would frown on it. Seems like an easy way to pass a lot of cash quickly to someone in a "legal" way if you were a booster.

I know that our staff wants to keep the players away from the casinos. Too much temptation when you're hanging around gamblers.

    just sayin'.

His girlfriend (fiancee?) broke up with him over his escapades with other women this past semester. She said she deserves better and she is right.
He is due in court shortly, over his arrest from last summer. Racial implications is being tossed around. We have a betting pool on how soon he gets in trouble again.

He is very arrogant. I await his downfall.

Esp in Norman, when football is God. People would be slipping them money vouchers left and right.

(Well, maybe they would be BEFORE the Cotton Bowl...)

It's like we're watching Act I of a 30 for 30: the meteoric rise. Act II will be the crushing fall. Who knows if there is an Act III: the moderate comeback.

I heard he was just using the rest of his "free play vouchers" that the defense gave him.

Generally when it comes to athletes and gambling it's not the money that's a concern. It's the situations you can find yourself in, the people you associate with, and the things that can happen because of it.

you can't be big12 champs when you run like a little **** out of the conference you douche bag.

  31. #31
hey, Nebraska only beat them by 39 in the '97 B12 CCG. If Nebraska had won by 40 or more then they'd have no claim at that Conference Championship.

That would have made sense if we left for the Pac 12 or the B1G, but we left for a conference with LSU, Alabama, and Florida... all of which have been far better than OU over the existence of the Big 12. Before that, Oklahoma had nothing to do with our conference affiliation for well over a hundred years. Except for when OU got sick of getting their ass kicked in the SWC. But seriously. No need for name calling.

The truth is A&M left because they were in texas' shadow

  34. #34
^ and now ironically Texas, Nebraska and OU are in A&M's shadow and would gladly even trade coaches for A&M's coach. Glad we can watch NFL. Cheers to a long college football off-season.

douche bag the Big8 saved your sorry assed conference much to our regret that we ever took you ****s in before that the swc was going the way of the dinosaur and would have been extinct in a couple of years and exactly what was your record against the Sooners when you were apart of our conference?

I hope he suffers the same double-knee fate that Jason White didn't deserve. Then we'll see if he can redefine his game the way Jason did so well.

On Saturday, johnny football was drinking Dom at the Avenu Lounge in Dallas. Various photos floating around the web. Drinking age is 20, though in some counties youcan legally have a drink if your parents are with you - but they have to be at the underage drinker's side the entire time. The Club is going to be in major trouble since the alcohol board is pretty hard on underage drinking here.

He's probably going to skate of the pending charges since they are in College Station.
I thought they were in Houston.

I guess what texass fans say about aggies is true. This aggie poster reminds me of our little brothers down in stoolwater. They FINALLY caught lightning in a bottle and beat OU, so now he wants to hang on a Sooner board and gloat.

Pretty juvenile & pathetic at the same time. I'll show them!!!! I'll even make a cool signature of how we are the big 12 champs because we beat OU....... I'm sure a guy like you was not around the entire time the ags were getting their butts kicked in the big 12. Have fun kiddo!!!! You look really cool with your ALLSUM signature bra!!!!!!!!! gig em!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Considering that he is currently in trouble for having a fake id, you would think he would try not to get caught in a 21 or older club.
