I know others have mentioned Manziel's partying, but Sumlin's going to have to reel him in a bit. He's no longer a normal college kid having fun ... the normal rules just don't apply to Heisman winners. Right or wrong.

We have had two heisman winners in the past decade and they both had cl****. Neither one had been arrested, had drunken pics taken at clubs or casinos, etc. It's not jealousy, it's pointing out an ****hole.

For all I know you went to OCU. But if you'd want your underage Heisman winner partying it up at clubs, so be it. I think most would be a bit more lenient if he didn't already have some issues in the past.
The kid at most is 20, he shouldn't be taking pictures of himself with any alcohol. He loves the limelight though, you can tell he is enjoying it and he should but he should definitely be smarter about it publicly.
I lost a bet and now my ringtone for the week is the Aggie War Hymn... phone won't stop ringing. FML
I don't blame the kid for anything he is doing. If I were his coach though, I would run his **** until he threw up his kidneys for the heat he is bringing the program. If he dosen't clean it up a little (publicly), this will end badly for him or atm.

One of the first thing various sports clubs around town do is tell their kids to do if they want to play their chosen sport in college is to clean up their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Then we see stuff like this.

I would be seriously concerned that he is drawing way too much attention in his direction. 20 years old and getting drunk is normal ... 20 years old and guzzling Dom in a club with a Heisman Trophy on your mantle back home is not as easy to overlook.
I don't even think the coach would care if he goes out and parties after big bowl game victory. These guys have been busting their **** for months. But he does need to show a bit more caution. You start taking pictures of expensive bottles of champagne then what's next? Pictures of you celebrating with your new ride? At some fancy dinner? College athletes have to be very careful when it comes to that sort of thing because the NCAA likes to go sniffing around for violations and there's an especially large microscope over the heisman trophy winner.

Pearl was our cheap beer of choice. I think it was about $3.50 for a twelve pack of bottles. You knew you were wasted when you couldn't solve the pictogram in the bottle caps anymore.

He might have had a little game, but he didn't have Johnny Manziel's game. Anyhoo, I just meant he seems like a hard-partying, arrogant ****hole. And yes, I thought that before he gave us the ****-blackening of a lifetime in front of America.
Apparently Manziel's Dad was actually with him at the club when this pic was taken so he was actually drinking legally in Texas. He's certainly riding the edge but he is being very careful as well. He always has at least 1 "shadow" with him. For his post Heisman tour through all those bball and football games he had Johnathan Stewart with him (Sr LB who's father is a Federal Judge). He has also been thoroughly briefed on compliance and is a smart kid, he's an academic junior as a Business Major at A&M which is far from a "jock" degree at A&M. He is also unusual in that his family has money, anyone from Tyler/East Texas is typically familiar with the Manziel family and I believe his mother's family also has money.
He makes me a little nervous as an Aggie and I would prefer he not be quite so Twitter happy but so far he appears to be staying within the lines and just having a great time. He was at the Flo Rida concert on South Beach last night as well and is going to the NC game tonight.
One thing is for sure, he may break Wilt Chamberlain's record for banging hot chicks. Don't know if I want him to wear a raincoat or just make a lot of "little JFF's" that can one day go to A&M. Dude is definitely living the life right now and clearly his post Heisman binge didn't hurt his play for the Cotton Bowl.
Dear football Gods...please let Johnny Bar Fight break his leg next season. I'm an OU graduate and huge fan but all of my friends in TX are aggies and I'm tired of hearing about him. I can't stand the aggie fan base. They are entitled jerks that love their fake army. Make it stop...
