You don't think they were suffering from the consequences of their choices? That is a ****ing ridiculous perspective. They were absolutely suffering the consequences. They were living in a ****hole. Working a Buffalo Wild Wings. I have no idea if they were on welfare, but if they were, they clearly weren't living at a resort.

Anyway, my point was about the larger decisions made that allowed, nay, encouraged the environment which exists at 61st and Peoria, and in places in every major city in America.

Oh. I see. All poor people are bad, so they should all live in one place (where I don't have to see them), but I'll be outraged/petty about four poor people being killed and blame it on them not pulling on their bootstraps hard enough.

If we had better social programs which differentiated between those that were trying to better themselves, and those that are looking to live forever off of the tax payer dollar, I wouldn't have to paint with such a broad brush. But, with the social system as it is.....

The kids always do. I saw so many kids that were just shoved to the side by people like this. Unfortunately when I was having problems my daughter wasn't always my top priority. She was never in harm's way or went without but she went without my attention and such.

Like Charlie Sheen or Lindsay Lohan, if one day either one of them were to overdose and die, it wouldn't be surprising and a consequence of a lifetime of bad, but probably fun(at times), decisions. If somebody in Detroit, Chicago or East St. Louis was walking the street with ****loads of cash in their hand and waving it around, they're almost certainly going to get their **** robbed/beat/killed or all the above. You don't say somebody deserved to die as much as it was the fulfillment of a chain of events set in motion and perpetually heading towards a certain end.
