Doesn't surprise me that Wort would leave. He seemed like he was a little disgruntled about BV leaving.

He had one game in his career where he played really well and that was at Florida State. Other than that he has been a total bust. Good riddance!!!!

This entire defense was trained and recruited by BV. Stoops in his drunken stupor mind thought he could make it his. He tried to play a defense with players that did not fit. He neutered Wort and Nelson, he installed a prevent defense (6 dbs is a prevent) everyone just ran through his ****. He ****ed up this defense rather than waiting until he had the players he needed. He is the worst hire in Stoops time. He makes Kittle look good. Any other decent DC could have made this defense decent. They were not great but Stoops (mike) made them FUBAR.

I think all he did was change how they were getting beat. The secondary was better. The run defense declined. But....BV had a couple more guys last year Along the front as well.

WRONG. I would agree that he tried to run his defense with athletes that were not built for that type of defense...but he will be fine once he gets his players in there

WRONG Mike is a washed up coach whose brother hired his **** when no one else would. If anyone truly believes Urban had any interest is this has been you smoke really good stuff.

+1. Doubt he wanted to play poorly. It just didn't work out. Guys come on...quit bashing the kid. I'd bet he's a lot more upset with how this all worked out than we are.
