Hopefully this offseason is the lynch pin for the coaching staff to wake the **** up. They have been recruiting two way players for the last 3-4 years but these two way players want to play offense, so the coaches promise to play them there and are too afraid to put them on D in fear of them leaving. MOTHER**** COACHES RUN THE PROGRAM....Dont let the program and plaers run you. Time to get back to years of old. Recruit players that are ready to hit...not soft pansies who want to not get hit. Prima-donnas will lead you down the rabbit hole. STOP. Time for change. This is OKLAHOMA football, not intramurals brother.

Lets ****ume all players in both your posts are on the team come August. Then we would have ample quantity at all def. positions except linebacker, where the Maestro switch has really hurt us. They should be panicking at linebacker because what we have clearly isn't good enough.

More numbers would be great, but if they are not difference makers then what does it matter? Are there anymore out there?

so 26 players on scholarship heading into spring and with our current cl**** we add the following:

DB (4 players):

Stanvon Taylor
Hatari Byrd
Dominque Alexander
Ahmad Thomas

LB (1 player):

Jordan Evans

DE (3 players):

Matt Dimon
DJ Ward
Ogbonnia Okoronwu

DT (2 players):

Quincy Russell
Kerrick Huggins (if he qualifies)

more to come obviously but it sucks that we are in this position

Josh has admitted he was wrong. We have 26 defensive players, with 10 currently committed. We'll add a few more before NSD.

Lamar Robbins, DB (hasn't heard from us in a while so I'm not sure what is going on with him but I like him)
Darius Randall, JUCO DB
Adrian Baker, DB (50/50 with Clemson and we will know in a little over a week)
LJ Moore, DB (visiting this weekend)


Slim chance at:

Toby Harrison, JUCO DT (prob going to Georgia most likely)
Keith Bryant, DT (visiting us soon but he likely stays in Florida)
Tahaan Goodman, DB (visiting this weekend but I'm not very hopeful)

Wishful thinking:

Tee Shephard, DB (getting cleared by the NCAA is still an issue and I don't think it happens in our favor)

Trey Franks is not someone I trust to contribute
Cortez Johnson has an impending suspension coming
Aaron Colvin could still leave
K**** Everett might be a wasted scholarship (next year is his last year to possibly contribute, remember when we stole him from TT)
Chaz Nelson had a big injury that wasted his 2012 season, how healthy will he be when he comes back?
Marquis Anderson didn't play much this season and got in trouble along with grades issues
Torrea Peterson pretty much same as Marquis Anderson (will he still be with the team next year?)
Damon Williams (dude likely won't contribute at DT, didn't he move to the offensive side at one point a year ago?)

There are a lot of question marks with the personnel of those 25 players

Tee's NCAA issues are much different than Saunders' problems. Tee isn't eligible to enroll and hasn't been cleared by the NCAA to attend cl****/practice. He has clearinghouse issues and he has an uphill battle and likely won't be at OU next year.

Saunders wanted to push a waiver through to play immediately due to circumstances out of his control (father's health and doctor ****istance in OK), he was able to attend cl**** immediately and practice with the team but didn't get to play until the 5th game of the season b/c the NCAA didn't accept his waiver til that time
