Nope. Devin Lauderdale is still in play, and he really enjoyed his visit this last weekend.

That's nuts that receiver isn't done yet. I like all the talent we're getting for sure but eventually we have to stop taking receivers and give a scholly to a lineman. I'm not trying to **** because Norvell is definitely our best recruiter and I like the talent he's been bringing in.

If we don't get Lauderdale then it's done. But even if we do we'll still have room for a couple more juco's and a couple of lineman.

Norvell seems to be having the success - needs to be chief recruiter or whatever the hell the name of the position is...

I think the "Recruiting Coordinator" is more an administrative thing. Keeping all the files up to date, what correspondence was sent, things like that.

We're the Matt Millen of college football. That's ok though, he eventually got Calvin Johnson. That of course means, this guy is the next Calvin Johnson.

I'm a huge fan of your logic. Half-full...I like it.

This kid definitely has the size and he's already got some muscle m**** so he's going to be a red zone threat for sure. If his speed doesn't pick up, he'll be an awesome hybrid TE ala Aaron Hernandez for UF.

Cavil was just on with Hale. He said that Texas woo'd him early but then ignored him so he wanted to go to a school where he'd have a chance to beat Texas. He said Texas offered him this morning

ESPN reporting that he said the Texas offer is definitely something he'll have to talk to his parents about.

Hopefully that doesn't mean much. Not sure if there are any rules on him leaving us after signing scholarship documents.

Don't know if OU wants this kid if he changes his mind so quickly. Good lord this would be his 2nd de-commit in a matter of days!

    He'll stick guys.

"Just when the player who has spent the last week with his head on a constant spin cycle thought things had settled down, he got an interesting offer - but one he isn't worried about.

"The breaking news from today was coach (Darrell) Wyatt from the University of Texas. He was talking about Thursday, but I'm a Sooner."

    should be on campus tomorrow

I'm not worried about Texas. Cavil has already mentioned how good Cody Thomas is in his interviews (In my opinion, Thomas is the most talented quarterback we've ever recruited). He knows we have the QBs that Texas doesn't have.

If he signed he'll be coming to OU. If he tries to de-committ, it will be to a school OU will allow him to go to.

In the same story, he also said:

“For the longest time I was always a Texas fan because my cousin Kwame went there, my dad went there, my aunt went there,” said Cavil, who is the No. 35 WR and No. 239 player overall. “That’s who I used to support. I went to camp after camp after camp. I just feel like now it is a little too late.”

No doubt the lack of a big receiver like this has hurt us in the red zone. How many TE's did we lose in 2010? I know we had the one quit?
