I just don't see his Oregon system working in the NFL.
I hope Oregon becomes Oregon again.

I would say go raid their recruits. But Oregon is in worse shape than we are if you go by "Rivals Rankings".
Oregon will replace Kelly with their OC, but it'll be interesting to see if any of the other staff goes with Kelly.
NCAA sniffing around Oregon?

Kelly's back door is always open? wow.
serious question- 1) Philly wanted C Kelly more than B Kellly, did the eagles really want to hire B Kelly, was it his job to turn down? 2) if yes they wanted B Kelly, does this mean that ND is a better program that UO? I think UO's facilities are some of the nicest in the country, and he has a TON of money to back at UO

Send Norvell and Gundy to go get their best commits to OU.
I guess he couldn't resist playing Monte Kiffin's D some more.

Rumor is Dontre Wilson may de-commit http://rivals.yahoo.com/oregon/footb...-Wilson-117626 http://highschoolsportsblog.dallasne...-for-nfl.html/
The local news here, Philadelphia that is, already doesn't like the hire. Philly sports fans are quick to turn on a coach, the boo birds will be out in the first quarter his first game if it doesn't go well. My guess is he only lasts a season or two.
I wonder if Chip will try to convince Vick to restructure, so he can keep him around. Seems like Vick could be successful (if he can stay healthy) in Chip's offense. He already has a couple RBs in McCoy and Brown that fit.
This is from tony Jefferson to Tyree Robinson.
@tonyjefferson1: @HumbleDuck_2 you better go to Ohio state. Urban Meyer gona get you to that money . Trust me
Wtf?

Where was Chip Kelly Tuesday night?.......an in home visit with Dontre Wilson.http://highschoolsportsblog.dallasne...e-mathis.html/On Tuesday, Chip Kelly was still Oregon’s head coach, and said as much when he made a trip to DeSoto to visit four-star recruit DeSoto running back Dontre Wilson.
On Wednesday, everything changed.
Kelly reversed course, deciding to leave Oregon for the Philadelphia Eagles, and leaving the Ducks’ recruits a little stunned – including Wilson, according to DeSoto coach Claude Mathis.
“He’s not a happy camper right now,” Mathis said. “I think Dontre’s hurt a little bit, because [Kelly] was here yesterday. Dontre thinks he should have said something.”
Chip Kelly might do well in the NFL. Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh both are doing well. I think the PAC12 coaches translate to the NFL better than some other coaches (like saban and spurrier)
Carroll and Harbaugh were NFL guys. Carroll was an NFL coach twice before going to Seattle. In fact this was only his 3rd winning season in his 7th season as an NFL coach. Harbaugh was an NFL ****istant for the Raiders before taking the San Diego football job. He also has a brother and a father that were coaches in the NFL.
How many NFL head coaching jobs did Harbaugh have before he was a head coach in college?
Then you can't say he is an NFL guy. He was an ****istant in the NFL for 1-2 years? He was an ****istant in college for 8 years before that little stint. Then he came back to college for 6 years as a college head coach. Pretty sure that makes him a college guy.
Pete Carroll - Nfl guy
Jim Mora Jr. - NFL guy
Jim Harbaugh - not an NFL guy
I remember when Carroll went to USC. Everyone thought it was an odd hire. People were pretty skeptical of how well he'd do in the college game as he hadn't had much success in the NFL.
Harbaugh was a long time NFL QB and has NFL coaching pedegree in his family.
