I never paid much attention to the love fest with Te'o or his stories but with all these interviews with Te'o about his dead girlfriend and their love affair, not one journalist, that I know of, tried to get an interview with this girlfriend's family to talk about her relationship with Te'o. If this was such a wonderful and tragic love story, then where was ESPN with the interview with the family of this girl talking about her love for Te'o?
Anybody who believes Te'o is a victim in this a fool.
I remember a couple of guys called JayMay out saying it was a guy. I believe they got thumped pretty hard from mods telling them that JayMay was a girl and to knock it off. Then it came out that JayMay wasn't a girl (which I still don't know the story of how we found out) and I don't remember any apologies being offered up to those who questioned her validity. The only major downside to watching this trainwreck on ESPN is watching clips of Landry getting sacked over and over and over again as they talk about the story.

How? Unless he's being investigated by some kind of law enforcement agency, I'm not sure how someone would gain access to his cell phone records.
I'm willing to bet that there are more people who have information on this. A hoax this big can't go on for so long without people around him knowing at least some of the details. For example, surely some of his teammates were at least somewhat suspicious.

That wasn't the odd part. The odd part was that he had so many affairs and somehow kept it all quiet for so long even though he was being followed by the press everywhere he went. On top of that he had such a straight laced image before all the affair stuff came out.
