Until this all broke I never knew Teo even had a girlfriend. Much less one who died. I didn't know his grandmother died either. Had you heard before this broke about his girlfriend?
Yes
No

I remember Musberger talking about it during the Notre Dame/Michigan State game, never really gave much thought to it afterwards. You know this is going to follow him around at every NFL stadium he plays and it's going to follow Notre Dame around anytime College Gameday is onsight for a ND road game.
Maybe I'm just making up a story about not hearing it.
I wasn't aware. Nor did I care. However, now that I know, I remain more appalled by his fake interception against us than his fake gf.

No, but I don't watch ESPN.
I live next to Notre Dame. Couldn't help hearing about it...but not until she 'died'.
They talked about it before the OU game you bunch of lying ****holes.

Didn't know about. I disregard 98% of the humanitarian tripe ESPN pumps. The other 2% is when the remote is out of reach. I'll probably scan the paper in that case. Can't stand the sappy music and manipulation of emotions. The heck with 'em.

I remember something vaguely about tragedies surrounding Te'o. I don't watch ESPN pre game or post game, oftentimes watching games on mute. I listen to Mad Dog Radio on satellite and I follow these message boards, that's about it for my exposure to college football. Most of us have too much real crap in our real lives to A) live and breathe the sport (particularly when its not that fun anymore for various reasons) and B) dwell on the real crap going on in the lives of strangers, ie Manti Te'o. Then it turns out it was fake crap, will only increase the skepticism (and annoyance) of human interest tripe promoted by that farce of a network, ESPN.

Shouldn't the poll be "Did you watch a Notre Dame game with the sound on?"

I had a vague knowledge that he had had some recent crises in his life. Didn't care.
Now that this thing has turned into a charade where you can't help but know about it I'm doing my best not to care.
All I know is that Te'o comes of as either a naive dumb**** or a calculating dumb****.................. or a **** dumb****.
no, didn't know about it
Apparently Te'o didn't know either.
