Hey, I'm here. Went to the game. It was great to see such a good student section. It was seriously different than any other game this season. I was a little disappointed in the rest of the crowd though. No reason to have so many open seats when playing against texas. Thought they played poorly in the first half and turned it up in the second half. Tried to give it away for a while near the end but Romero wasn't going to let that happen. I had it as a win in my conference prediction. Hope we can get at least one more before Valentine's Day. We've got a tough stretch ahead. Boomer!

One of the biggest reasons is their best player is suspended for receiving illegal benefits and lying about it.

Couldn't agree more. It's nice to see this team play with a purpose. Lon has brought that. He definitely out coached Barnes last night.

I don't think any particular reason other than he was one of the first players on their team to have a bad play so everyone kept running with him.

I wish the "wheres kabongo" chants would have kept up more.

We play TCU on the 11th. We will get at least one more before V Day.

I think 9-7 in conference is realistic. Thats 19-10 headed in the conference tourney. A few wins there and we could be a 7 seed or better.

Which is a good thing as I cannot think of a coach in Men's CBB that can out do what little Barnes has done at UT with so much at his disposal...

This seems to be a trend with all of the major programs at UT(with thier Men's Baseball team possibly being the exception as I am not sure on that) which I will not lie it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling



Anyways I am in 100% agreement about Lon though as I am a HUGE fan of what he has done here and I truly think the sky is the limit for what we can accomplish with Coach Kruger at the helm. And the best part about it is that from all indications he is doing it all the right way.

I don't know why more students don't go. With the Sooners for 2012 ticket package, you could get basketball tickets for $20 on top of football tickets. No brainer in my opinion.
