I tried it once, couldn't see any real advantage. I probably quit too soon.
Might be just aesthetically different? Looks more iPhoney.
Not free = nope.

It's faster than surfing through the site on safari. I can't see gifs, but other than that, I like it.

I don't use Safari on my iPhone. I use either Mercury or Atomic.
I use it--as has been said, much better than the browser experience on the phone. Recommended.
Okay. There is a Tapatalk for iPhone and a regular Tapatalk app. They look pretty different. Are y'all's answers still the same? I'm not so sure I like the iPhone one yet.
Pweeze & fanks.

I use regular Tapatalk when I'm at work. It obviously has its drawbacks, but is great for what I use it for. Love that you can upload pics straight from your phone.
I think it's 30. Just use imgur instead.

, pros and cons versus the original and Tapatalk 2? I have 2 for the iPad ... seems like it works about the same, albeit a bit slower, IMO.
Yes & I like it.
Aesthetically, I like it better than the forum app. It behaves more like other iPhone apps and you can view things like pictures more easily. You can see more thread topics her screen without scrolling, but depending on how long the title is, you can't see the first line.
Gif still show up as pics - at least the naughty ones do (that was the only gif thread I could find at the time) - so I guess you still have to view gifs via Safari or whatever.
I don't like how the private messages work… So far I can't seem to find my sent tab, but maybe I'll find that. It also doesn't give you a larger space to type on a private message, so sending something like a Top 25 football list (or anything lengthy) would probably be damn near impossible.
The biggest issue that I can see in switching formats so far is that I can't remember my trollaccount password, and I can't remember which of you guys gave it to me… So unless someone sends that to me again, I will have to keep the forum app open for trolling purposes. Teehee

Thanks for the feedback. I might just stick with what I have. Until this thread, didn't even know I had an old version.
It looks very similar to the GroupMe app.
I think I'm getting use to it, it's just got a few kinks.

I use the Tapatalk (not Tapatalk for iPhone) app, which works fine enough for me.
What does Tapatalk (1 or 2) for the iPad offer that makes it useful? The only reason I use Tapatalk for the phone is that it's a pain to use the message board in Safari and, in it's online format, is too small to be easily seen on the phone. I've got the iPad Mini and the message board is easy to use in the browser and plenty big to be read without needing a third party app.
