I love Connie Johnson. She's the ballsiest senator in there, IMO. She also directly challenged the Personhood Bill last time around as an affront to women's rights. She ended up on Jon Stewart based on her argument that every time a male in OK jerks it, he's killing the components of life a million times over.
Good for her for not being intimidated by the establishment.
too many ignorant tards around here, including family :/

I hope it passes. It would do wonders for my feet.

The sad thing is we'll probably see legal marijuana in Oklahoma long before we can buy 6pt beer at 7-11.

I would support it, but I'm sure we'll be the last state in the union to p**** it. Just like we were for tattoos. Just like we were so far behind the curve on having a lottery and allowing ****fighting.
Would open-up recruiting in Colorado, Washington and Oregon.

Don't see it happening. That jerk off Rick Santorum even said this was the "reddest state." Too many extreme conservatives.
Will there people that abuse the system? Sure. Do people abuse the system in every conceivable way possible already? Sure.
More tax revenue for you guys.

I think I would support this. Cub, do you know where ODMHSAS stands? Siap
YEAH....This will NEVER be accepted here...This state is chock full of bible thumpers that we'll probably do the opposite and make smoking weed punishable by death
you are right..Casinos are the work of the devil too...I hope we never see them here.
I hate to tell you, if this made it to a vote, this **** backwards state would probably p**** it. While it is fun to stereotype, many people would see the benefits..we are an agricultural state after all, and another cash crop wouldn't hurt...tax income as well.
IF the morons that somehow keep getting elected allow this to get to the people (unlike the alcohol issue - a lot of MONEY against), it would p**** imo.

Quit blowing smoke up our **** by legalizing marijuana for medical purposes. I would continue to buy it on the black market before I put my name on a list and have to pay some quack to prescribe it to me. Just legalize it like Colorado and Washington.
You'll push it further towards approval if it's pitched as pain mgmt for terminal people, treatment for veterans, etc. I have a friend who was severely injured in the Navy. He and his repair team were working on a radar and someone turned it on. 3/5 are dead--the 4th is terminal. My buddy is 100% disabled, was given 5 years before he'd need a lung transplant or be dead. He did research on his own and started a medicinal cannabis program and his health has shown great improvement. You tell those stories and it'll almost guarantee passage. Sure they're anecdotal, but most conservatives around here would lay down in traffic to help a vet.
I just want the easiest way to get high

This makes me sick!
ideally it would be legalized.....everyone could grow it.....the price would plummet ....and the mexican cartels would see a huge drop in revenue....
and it wouldn't be worth my time to grow it....
but like everything else in this country....someone will figure out how to regulate it just enuf so only a few will benefit financially....
