Honestly, at this point, PSA's showing that there can be harm done would probably be effective. We are so knotted up in saying there is no harm that many parents honestly don't know that there is harm, or at least risk.

Not at all. I want you to tell what we should do about it. You've established you don't want to ban violent video games and I believe you. Would PSA's with Carl Jenkins really do the trick?

Education is what is missing. It won't solve it completely, but we can't solve anything completely. There are still kids drinking tequila, but it's not the norm or accepted as 'OK.' People need to understand that there is a reason the games are rated, and that there is an adverse effect on a psyche with unregulated consumption. God's truth man, a shocking number of parents do not know what the ratings even mean.

This is truly frightening to me. Instead of cracking down on video games or changing gun laws, we should probably be making people get background checks and get licenses to have children.
