Not sure I get the meltdown. Everyone complains that we keep missing out on the 5* WR recruits. Do WRs get better over time? Was stills better his junior year than his freshman year (or did he just have more opportunities)? What happened to Metoyer? We have no idea how game planning works on this team. maybe he is the one who is keeping millard off the field? So to sum up...he can't land the top WR recruits and players don't get better over time...working for the bears is a great opportunity! (this is using the usual logic found on this board and may or may not reflect my own opinion).

I hear Tim Tush has a friend who worked with the receivers on his son's flag football team. He lost his job as a pizza thrower and is available for a price.
We are now missing on 4 star recruits....Norvell gets plenty of those
Pfffft. No problem. Stoops has a cousin or brother-in-law that needs a job and should be drawing a check from the University of Oklahoma.

What position on the Bears staff?
If it is WR coach for Bears, then OU needs to give Norvell a raise and keep him here. If it is OC, then we need to promote Norvell to sole OC, give a big raise and pray as he seems to always want to go back to the NFL.
If we lose him, we are going to be screwed on the offensive side of the ball. Only home grown Heupel and bunch of ****t. coaches that no one would want. I would hope that Bob Stoops would do what he did when he hired Leach in 1999, and that is hire the guy that has the hardest system to stop and that would be a spread option coach. However, he is more likely to do something like bring in Mangino (i am OK with) or Chuck Long (**** my pants and move nobody like Kittles to WR coach.
Mark Clayton to GA, and more than likely a coach from the ACC.
This would make sense, but Mark hasn't retired from the NFL yet.

Norvell is the only one recruiting and coaching on this staff that is worth a **** anymore.
We still have Cale unless the Dallas Cowboys come along and offer him the same postion.
Hale just posted that Norvell interviewed today. Not clear for what position it would be for with the Bears, but it sounds like if he is offered the job he is gone
