Doesn't OSU have a video similar to that for the team on the rise?

They totally should have thrown a THUNDER THE **** UP in there with that official, classy-sounding narrator.

Only 90 minutes away from a vastly superior city.

No beaches, stolen basketball team, below average school system, constant road work . . . I'll pass.

Having said that, OKC > Tulsa and it's not even close.

I love how far the city has come but there is still room for improvement. The live music scene was great here until Bricktown took off now there's not much to choose from that isn't just cover bands. Would love to see places like the Samurai and Boars Head come back.

I will never understand this Tulsa vs. OKC thing. No matter where you live, is your dick really that small that you need the validation that your city/town is somehow "better" than another?

That building looks so out of my place. By the way, my city is better than yours ...

Honestly I don't actually care. I just like giving Tulsa shit because all of my Tulsa friends get super defensive about it.

Bricktown beats anything Tulsa has. The neighborhoods are nicer in T town but Toby Keith, the Thunder, and the bars win.

Who wants to watch a 7 minute video on any city? Bet that will get watched by no one except OKC fan boys.

You're a drug addict beside a poke aren't you. Tulsa is a shit hole. I don't even have to be a part of that whole OKC > Tulsa crap you folks get into to recognize that. I'd swing from a shower rod if I had to live in Tulsa.

Here's the reality: Oklahoma City has the Thunder, Tulsa doesn't. That's a big deal. Other than that, there is virtually zero difference between the two cities. Anyone that says otherwise is full of shit. Now, carry on with your rantings and ravings.

Sorry but Bricktown is a joke. The bars up and down Western and in the Classen district destroy Bricktown, which is just a total fraud to me.

You mean you don't think cheesy commercial schlock that every other city in America also has is something special?

Wish I still lived there, unfortunately right out of the MBA program I was offered roughly triple the highest salary I could find in OKC to move to Ft. Worth. Was a no brainer at the time (three years ago), but I can't wait to move back to the area.

Why does it have to be Tulsa vs. OKC? Shouldn't we be promoting all Oklahoma cities to be as good as they can? I live in Tulsa and am very proud of OKC and Tulsa. Truth is both cities are getting better. Lived in Dallas for 10 years and I'll say i like both Tulsa and OKC better.

Nothing wrong with having pride in your city and I'm sure practically everyone views it as a fun/friendly type of rivalry anyway.

What will the next Maps vote include?

I am thinking that it will include commuter rail between Edmond and Norman with several stops along the way.
There would be an OU stop.
This would help OU commuters and people who attend events at OU.

Based on that video, they are really pumping up their attachment to the Thunder, who are doing well, but pro sports teams are cyclical and truly educated people aren't going to move to OKC for the basketball. It shows you the mindset of the video makers. No mentions of extreme weather, drought, freezes, and tornadoes either...

While I agree about the basketball part, in reality no place is perfect. California is bankrupt and has incredibly high taxes. Not to mention earthquakes...

Well no shit. Our earthquakes are about every 20 years or so and the party of the states fiscal problems are in power nationally so that's going to spread.

We just don't have to make to make a 7 minute video saying it.

That's what marketing people do. California still has commercials with celebrities pimping how great it is there.

For 30 second commercials. Not 7 minutes of boring.
