Mack Brown contacts Logan Thomas
I go to school with a guy who is good friends with Virginia Tech QB Logan Thomas. He told me today that Thomas got a call from Mack Brown yesterday saying that he wanted Thomas to transfer to texas. Apparently Mack told him he would be the starter if he would transfer. Wouldn't bet on the truthfulness of this story, but I am not surprised at all if true.
A major infraction if true. I doubt Mack is that dumb.

No it's definitely Logan. My friend went to high school with him here in Virginia. I agree that Mack Brown probably doesn't care about NCAA rules.

Another QB Mack might go after, Jameill Showers. Hes the backup to Johnny Football and looking to transfer. He graduates in May with 2 years to play.

Well the situations aren't even the same. Wilson was embroiled in a QB controversy with Mike Glennon. Logan Thomas is the established starter at Va Tech.

It'd be pretty ****ed up if that's where Allen ended up. Pretty surprised old yeller hadn't tried for him. I don't know what the rules are about transfering to another team in your conference though, if any.
Yep, forgot about that. The coach didn't want him to play baseball and threatened that Glennon might be named the starter the next year if he (Wiilson) did play baseball IIRC.

My understanding is if you are a Grad you can transfer and play immediately. Personally I can't understand why any Grad would want to play a year for ut??? My next thought is to say that this only goes to show what Wack thinks about the two goobers he's been rotating these past 2 years. Bet this really makes them feel comfortable.
