Awesome thread. As I enjoy the Blues regularly on my patio or in my Cantina with a good cigar and drinks. I have over 300+ blues song in my Ipod library. I have all the songs that are previously listed.

I haven't looked at all the videos. Is Joe Bonamassa shown anywhere?
Love Joe, but compared to the other two he looks like he "gets paid by the note" as Brother Gregg would put it

Hope this isn't already posted. This song is so damn good it makes me make the ugly face.
Anyone know whether Bricktown still hosts an outdoor blues festival in the spring?
I'm disappointed the Blues didn't win their FA Cup game on Sunday.
SRV's "Life by the Drop" gives me chills every time.

I know this is kind of borderline R&B/Pop, but I've always loved this song since I was a little kid
Had the privilege of opening for this guy back in 2002. Great talent. Came from Houston and traveled to the hill country of northeast Mississippi to immerse himself in their particular brand of blues and then was discovered busking in Tokyo of all places by a music reviewer who brought him back to Memphis. Self-produced his smokin' debut album and it sold 2000 copies right out of the box with virtually no marketing; notable if only for the last recording of Jessie Mae Hemphill.

VUGear's post reminded me of Steve. He had a similar journey; albeit a long time ago. The drummer's a classic; reminds me of this guy.Oh, and Steve's "guitar" is made out of a stick and a hubcap.

Well I guess it's time we headed up into the Hill Country
"Well, well, well"
(and Brown County, Indiana)
And those raised on Hill Country
Damn I forgot how awesome this is
