I remember when the first 3D0 came out, it was $800. I didn't buy one until it was down to $400. You know you've played too many video games when you remember owning a large number of those.

Best game on the 3D0 : Need For Speed

They didn't even include the SegaCD and the Sega 32x. Those were awesome back in their day!

I miss the Dreamcast. It should have been bigger than it was.

Loved that Need for Speed on 3DO. The Supra and he NSX were awesome in that game.

Played tons of Fifa as well.

I have owned 13 of those systems.

I don't see the Sega-CD, though it was essentially an add-on for the Genesis, but damn that thing was expensive at the time and a waste of money IMO.

But I just had to have that Night Trap game.

I'm at 17, 19 if you include the Sega CD & the 32x.

None of that mentions portable gaming.

I thought I was one of a few that owned 3DO. I can still remember the sayings from this one the most:

I don't remember "Return Fire" I did have the "Need for Speed" game.

I still have my NES and Atari 2600 in the garage, next time I redo the living room, I'm thinking about putting them in the rack with the PS3 & the 360. I wish I would have kept all of the systems instead of trading them to move to the next one.

When the Playstation2 came out, I was able to trade in enough stuff to have $700 in store credit at Gamestop (or whatever it was called at the time). I bought the system, extra controllers, every game that came out at launch, bought a magazine subscription and I had to pay $6 out of pocket to leave the store at midnight. That's the one time I've gone somewhere early and camped out. My friend and I got there at 4PM and were number 2 and 3 in line at the mall in Norman.

Basically until MGS2 came out, every person that I knew who bought a PS2 at launch had Smuggler's Run. I always thought that was funny.
