Usually not in favor of this, but this kid is damn impressive. Incredible accolades for a sophomore. Good luck to him. Hopefully he stays healthy and ends up in Norman for college. :-)

He looks pretty good. That would be great if we could get this kid. Sort of helps when a big time program like OU is interested in you this early, maybe that will have some influence on him.

And James David and Otaro Olaka have great film too, so there's competition but Jefferson is on another level.

That was Jefferson’s goal growing up. While he was impressed by the first two offers he picked up, he’s looking forward to finding out if UT will make one soon.
“I did have a favorite school growing up, but they haven’t offered me yet. That would be Texas,” Jefferson said. “Another one would be Oregon. Those are my two favorites.”
He was pretty startled by the fact the Sooners were the first to offer and that they did so early on, but Jefferson knows he’s a long way away from narrowing things down or getting serious about his recruitment.
Whenever that day arrives, though, Jefferson said it’s a sure thing Texas will be in his top five. Getting in another visit this month only helps the Longhorns’ chances down the road."

I think there has been some miscommunication with Malik. I offered him verbally over the phone, but, later, rescinded the offer so that I could offer him in person, but seemed to have lost touch with him over the last couple of months. I need to repair this mix up.
