Lots of movies seem to age poorly a few years after they are made, but wait long enough and they take antique status and seem ok.
For example B-movies such as Elvis movies and early 60s beach movies with Frankie Avalon, etc, weren't great to begin with, but were unwatchable in the late 60s through the 70s and maybe beyond. But now, they are light fun to watch one occasionally.
Same thing with Classics award winning films such as West Side Story -- aged poorly 10 or 20 years out - but seem like fine wine now.
The CG in Twister is pretty god awful for today's standards as well.

Weird Science - although still funny, the computer sequence at the beginning.

May not really fit but since it is on Spike tonight, let me just say that Independence Day is one the most melodramatic pieces of crap ever made
