Seriously tho, my old neighbor still has his up. He put them up Christmas 2008.
I always ****umed there was a one week "grace period". After New Years Day, take them down. But yeah, I've seen some lazy ****holes who leave them up and still plug them in at night up until March.

If I ever put some up again I getting the string plastic covered ones and leaving them up year round. I will randomly turn them on in the evenings just to **** with the neighbors.
It's not so much that people still have the lights up, but the people who still have wreaths, garland, yard decorations, and Santa ****. Take this **** down. Anyone who's driven west on 412 out of Sand Springs has seen the evergreen tree that gets decorated every Christmas, yet the ****s who do that can't spend one hour of one afternoon taking that **** down.

It's not in my neighborhood. I was in several different hoods this week, from $140 to 7 figures, lot of lights still up.

My parents live on the edge of town. Their neighborhood is suspect.

The first weekend of February is all but over. If your lights are still up, you're officially a lazy **** and should not be allowed to vote.
I leave mine up until Jan 6th. Then take them down when there is nice weather and it is safe to do so. I left mine up a little bit longer this year b/c a neighbor (one I can't stand) came over and asked my wife if she knew Christmas was over.
BTW anyone know how expensive LED lights are?
