Teacher / Student relationships dont hurt just Texas, they hurt all colleges to some degree. I am not a fan of people in position of power having relationships with those they are in power of. Its sort of like being a Ceo of a company and sleeping with an Intern. It's corrupt and wrong no matter how "consensual" it is.

    No. However, one was a long-term relationship. The other was (apparently) a 1-time thing. So to me, that makes it different.

    Why is that different? Where do you draw the line? Twice, three times, four? A policy was broken. You also have no idea how long it took place. Odds are it happened more than once.
