Casey arent sighting.......
And here comes the ISU benchwarmer albino. Just don't let this kid score on us....
Just got home and turned on the TV. Holy ****. What the hell happened here? Was the performance as embarrassing as the score looks?
36.6% FG
18.8% 3pt
52.9% FT
That will get you beat by any average team. 53% FT's is laughable. That's bad for a junior high team.
Lon has his work cut out for him. Without Pledger getting 15 a game there is no outside threat on the team so all teams have to do is shut down Osby and M'Baye and game, set, match. The D has to play like Wis. or Mich State every night to have a chance for a win. Was that Mike or Brent coaching D tonight on loan from FB?
Hope after this horrid stretch the team can recover from being pummeled to the canvas. That K-State loss may have been a season breaker.

There is no hope for post season. The only way this team can get better in the next four years is for Lon to recruit some players who can actually play basketball. Dribble and go past folks (speed), guard folks (speed), be able to shoot better than 25%, and not one of the players who will be left on the roster can do any of these. What about the transfers, are any of them able to play?
Jesus dude, step back off the ledge. They **** the bed tonight. Doesn't mean they are as bad as you're saying. Most of us counted tonight as a loss before they ever tipped off. It just sucks that they played so poorly. There is still a chance to finish strong and compete for some type of postseason berth. Lets see what Kruger can do.
No they can't!!! 87 and Bounce said so before the season! They are EXPERTS!!! [Tongue in cheek] ISU is a shadow of their former selves. They have no shot of being a top 4 team in this conference! Absolutely no shot at . . . at . . . at making . . . and winning a game in the tournament! It's not conceivable! Suncoast is a moron, this conference sucks, especially compared to last year, and we will ride out into the sunset to the NCAA tournament with Lon Kruger on the wings of Angels. [/Tongue in cheek]

Bad performance tonight. But the future does look bright for OU basketball. Kruger should be able to recruit some good players. And even though their careless with the ball sometimes, I'm liking what I'm seeing out of our freshmen.
Sucks that this game was cancelled/never occurred ... oh well I suspect the next game might also becancelled

I am fairly sure our next game is Feb. 11th vs TCU

As soon as KSU beat us at home it became apparent OU isn't ready for the big games. Hoping Lon gets it where it needs to be it just doesn't look like it's gonna be this year.

I think maybe we got an overinflated view of our team after the Baylor game. It's obvious we aren't anywhere near ready for prime time and (while a good coach) Kruger has some work to do on the recruiting trail. While we're maybe not as far along as was thought I still like the direction of the team and how they play (mostly). With what we're losing and what we have coming back it would appear that we are at least a year and maybe two from being a consistently good, top of the big 12, automatic ncaa team. Also after this year some of the "at least they aren't playing like when Capel was here" will wear off and this team and coach will have to stand on their own merit.

Didn't get to watch the game as I was at the Thunder game. Good news is OKC destroyed Dallas. Bad news is this OU loss puts us on the outside of the bubble imo.
This is a tough stretch and getting one of the three against BU, KSU, and ISU is okay, and 1-4 through these 5 is what was predicted by a lot of us here. I'm not sure the KSU loss by itself was the season breaker, but this one paired with it hurts simply because it puts us behind the pack of OSU, ISU, KSU, Baylor and just barely ahead of WV who is playing better.
Still a ways to go, and some tough games coming up that if we can sneak through the rest of the regular season with just 2 more losses, we got a shot. A good win or two in the big XII tourney would help there, too.
But I think this team is destined for the NIT. Hopefully we get in with a winnable match up, these guys need the experience.
I've been no where for the last five games wins and a lot of losses. I made it quite clear I was tired of the same conversation repeatedly with the village idiot (87) who dominates every thread with complete and utter stupidity. He understands basketball about as well as a monkey understands astrophysics.
You are out of your mind. Lon Kruger took over a slumping team with a lack of talent, going on probation, with scholarship limitations. A program that has had recruiting issues for some time previous before he arrived. And he took over that team playing in a conference which has consistently finished first or second in the NCAA in conference RPI every year for 15 years straight and is second only to the Big East in NCAA tournament performance.
When we're winning? When we're winning?!?! Are you seriously this ****ing dense??? Oklahoma has lost three of its last four . . . four of it's last six. I haven't been posting while we have been LOSING. You have got to be one of the most brain dead SOBs I have ever encountered in my entire life, not even just limited to message boards but just in general. I fear for our species future genetic pool if you have procreated.
yes...4 of our last 6 that we were SUPPOSED TO LOSE........
so you're back why?
i can look at the schedule and predict your vacation schedule.......
87. Don't even bother responding to me or trying to discuss anything with from now on. You won't get replies. I'll only be fielding questions and hold discussions from now on with posters who can form a complete sentence, know how to spell simple words and phrases, and have an IQ above that of a carrot stick.
I've yet to ever see you correct about a single subject you ever post on.
ISU is really good at home. They have one of the longest winning streaks at home in the nation (Like 6th or something).
OU gets blown out and Suncoast shows back up. Ironic.

As opposed to the other four losses I didn't post after . . . one of which was also a blow out by double digits (Kansas).
I stopped posting because of the same conversation with 87 over and over again.
I only even chose to post on this thread because prior to the season Bounce and 87 lectured me about how Iowa State was nowhere near a top four conference team this season and Oklahoma would easily finish above them on their way to the NCAA tournament.
as terrible as our offense has been, kansas has 2 points @TCU with 6 mins left in the first...
6 now and theyre at the line. but tcu's up 20-6 with 4 minutes left.
TCU up 12 with 10 minutes left. i don't know if this is good or bad for us. i feel like KU's gonna come in saturday looking to murder us.
TCU up 12 with 245 left. Never would have predicted this. TCU has looked terrible every time I've watched them this year
