Stoops is excited about this cl****. Excited about the # of in state kids. Addressed some major needs 7 guys for 4 positions up front. Quincy Russell is expected to present a immediate impact. In the secondary with the 4 we have "we'll see if we add to that at the end of the day"
On Cody Thomas: Adamant he wants to play football unless he gets selected unreasonably high. We believe he'll play here. Cody will play baseball here and we'll go watch him in the spring
On WR: Cannon tested well already on campus. Smallwood is strong. KJ Young and Bennet nice slot guys with great hands
On OL. High on John and Savage. Savage is so phyiscial inside. Daimler reminds them of Lane
Keith Ford: Exceptional RB, great year, can catch the ball out of the back field
Punter: One of the best jucos in the country. No one gets excited about the punter until you need a good one next year

On TE: Not in a postion where we are going to play 2-3 at a time. Likes the guys on campus. TE will be emphasized this year
Replacing Millard: Constantly looking but there isn't a lot like him
On DT: They have to be able to run and get pentetration. Love the 4 guys we got good size and speed
Jordan Evans: Projects at a****if he grows into a DE thats fine. We want to see where he grows into. Great athlete

On TJ, think he just wants to visit the war buzzards they can tell him over the phone if his classes transfer or not. Also didn't his team make sign with a $ec school? I am sure they didn't take the same classes but if he was able to get in I am sure TJ can. Can't wait till Moore signs with OU..

So far today I've heard coaches compare Alexander to Lehman and Evans to Cody. I would love for this to be true, but we have had the Roy Williams comparisons for years with only Jefferson being close to that billing. I would say that this was one damn good recruiting cl**** if those two live up to that billing.

media does not give the kids that commit early and stand by their word much credit. instead they showcase the kids that seek attention, decommit, etc. the former are kids that get rolled in the ticker at the bottom of the screen while the later gets the interviews, etc.
