In Las Colinas, there's a few places the wifey and I like...
Cool River Cafe - good steak and decent seafood
Sonny Bryans Smokehouse - pretty good
Sfuzzi (I think) - decent Italian
Guerros (actually North on MacArthur past Valley Ranch) - good Mexican food
Good old In-N-Out Burger
My wife likes Benihana and LaMadelaine - both are just okay to me
Theres a sushi joint on MacArthur in one of the strip malls thats actually pretty good, I'll get the name of it if you want.
I know you said Dallas, but I spend alot of time doing business in Las Colinas and thought you might be interested in some of the places close to your hotel.

We'll be in Las Colinas but we're going to be going to Jerryworld all day for 1 day (2 games) and 1 game another day. We'll also be going to Six Flags and possibly the texas School Book Depository(never been) so I don't mind driving for a good restaurant. I do know a good pizza pie would be nice. Another thing is I know we are going to Texas De Brazil. Thanks for the info
I live here... so, what kind of food do you like(flavor) what price budget? You are half way between Dallas and Ft. Worth and FTW has some great places to eat. As far as what Clark give you(no disrespect) I would never eat at any of those places... but Im a food snob. Avilas and Twisted Root cant be beat.
I believe I've been to twisted root and it was fantastic.
It will be me. Wife and 21 yr old brother. Brother doesn't eat BBQ but **** him I'm eating some if there's some good BBQ.
Price range we're in the range of no more than $25 per person(except at Texas De Brazil) I don't mind spending above that if it's worth it but for the most part the 10-20 range.

Isn't there supposed to be a good BBQ restaurant in Euless?
If you are going to eat BBQ go to Lockhearts about the only BBQ in Dallas... oddly limited BBQ in this area. But if you go to Ft.Woth go to Angelos and Railhead
Pizza 3 place you must go... Fireside Pies, Cane Rosso and Dough
Burger- Maple and Motor, Angry Dog, Snuffers( best cheese fries you will EVER have.. get them loaded),
Mexican is all the same... just pick a joint. Avila is where Diner drive ins and dives went too if that interest you. Mia's Tex Mex
Chicken- Fired Chicken Babe's or Bubbas but you can get chicken anywhere since you are not being specific.
Breakfast- Kozy Kitchen, Kuby’s, AllGood Cafe, Craft Dallas
Bakery- Sprinkles, dont know a lot of these.. hit and miss
Coopers BBQ in the Fort Worth Stockyard area is excellent. Right across the street from Billy Bobs.

Used to go 20 years ago, and liked it (like a real home cooked meal) think Cracker Barrel, but good.
Make sure you are hungry if you are going to Texas De Brazil.
For pizza, I like Boston's Gourmet.
Hell yes brother! Boston's is a great place. The bacon-wrapped steak skewers with blue cheese is unreal. Nice beer selection from what I recall as well. Also, might sound weird for a place like that but they have excellent fish and chips.
Whatitis, for what it's worth there's one in Las Colinas off of 635 and MacArthur.
III Forks for the best steak (on the North Dallas tollway, not too far a drive).
My niece from Oklahoma like Uncle Julios - I think it is expensive and has terrible salsa.
One of my kids lived in Las Colinas for a couple of years - we never ate there. Addison isn't far and well worth the drive.
I've never been there.
Personally, Al Biernat's is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in Dallas.
How does III Forks compare price-wise and quality-wise to Ruths Criss?
Price about the same but the I like III Forks a little better because of the atmosphere and sides. The NY Strip at III Forks is better.
if you get a chance go by Jimmy's Food Store - great, cheap italian wine, sandwiches are killer and great take and bake lasagna to bring back
ok, coincidently, my family and I are coming to Las Colinas in June for my nephew's wedding. thinking about staying at the Marriot - real close to the wedding.
My daughter is not a meat eater so best bet will be either ****anese or Italian/Pizza. A few pizza places have already been mentioned, which I'll check out.
I noticed there's a BlueFishSushi Restaurant in Las Colinas, who's menu looks promising. I'll have to check out the reviews. Any sushi fans of ****anese cuisine eaten there? A great Jewish deli would work also.
Last time I was in Dallas I ate at Sushi Sake in Richardson - very good but long wait on a Friday night.
Blue Fish is not bad at all... if you want really good Sushi go to Steel or Tei Tei

The bad news.... Las Colinas sucks for food! You will have to make a drive but work it vs what you have where your at..
Coopers BBQ in FTW is good, there is also Hard Eight BBQ in Coppell about a 5-10 minute drive from Las Colinas that is very very good! Babes in Carrolton, Roanoke, Sanger ( on the way from OKC) is very very good chicken fried steak/fried chicken. Sfuzzi has good food but like said there are a ton of great places in DFW.
I was not a fan of Hard8 BBQ! Babes is great! family style.. Sfuzzi is good, not real kid friendly.
Ball's Hamburgers or Blue Goose for Mexican.

FYI....Lost Colinas sucks for food. Its generally pretty boring. We NEVER think....oh lets go to Lost Colinas for dinner.
Downtown near McKinney Street. Legacy and Tollway in Plano. You may stay in Lost Colinas but you will wind up driving to eat and shop.
Might as well stay where you eat and shop and drive to Lost Colinas.

Yeah I did a price line name your own price and it put me in los colinas but it appears to be a nice hotel for a very cheap price especially for that weekend.
Favorite place of the community... avoid it on Sunday after church.
Pecan Lodge is the only place in Dallas I'd go for BBQ

or - go down in to Deep Ellum and give Angry Dog a try
really depends on what kind of food you're looking for
Il Cane Rosso is really good
and if you can find a Hard 8 BBQ i highly recommend it
Angry Dog is great! As well as Cane Rosso.... not a fan of Hard 8. The best BBQ in the metro is Main Street BBQ in Euless

pecan lodge is great - but they have limited hours and access...they close when the food runs out
and i think its pretty much a lunch only place - so while it IS greatness - it's not convenient unless you're able to plan that trip and build your itinerary around everything else you're doing
I cannot believe, with all of the incredible burger places in Dallas, that anyone would recommend In n Out. Most overrated restaurant in America.
Says you and about 22 other people. It's a good, fresh, fast-food burger. It's great for what it is.

i think In and Out sucks - but people from out west love it - so yeah
but i can think of a dozen or so burger places in the metroplex i'd go to before In and Out
It's not that it's a blow-your-socks off burger, but it's a good burger and ALWAYS fresh and consistent. I do think the fries suck.
To each their own, except the Horn.
i think its a regional thing - most from down here LOVE Whataburger - but many from outside the area think it absolutely sucks
i dont hate In-N-Out, i just think its average (the fries do suck)- the lines here when they opened were ridiculous so somebody loves them!
In n Out > Whataburger. not even close.
its really good for a fast food burger, but compared to plenty of other places, yea its not that great. (although Twisted Root is massively overrated)

most restaurants are stocked to handle a much bigger crowd for a longer period of time - than does Pecan Lodge

i'm not sure why restaurants do that - i guess because they can or because the owners dont have a desire/need to push for bigger profits/operations
Cuts down on food waste, and its not like you can whip up another properly smoked brisket if you run out anyway.
