Alabama at #1 is not at all surprising, but Stanford at #2 is. tOSU at #3 makes sense, despite doubters. Louisville #8?! Well, Terry Bridgewater is Supermensch. One can't help noticing that Mack Brown's team is ranked above the one coached by Bob Stoops. That's probably good, if not wise.

We are right where we should be. Texas should be a few spots lower than us. Stanford should not be #2. Everything else is about right.

We have an unknown at QB and we are replacing a ton on what was already a lackluster D. I think we are ranked a bit high on that poll. I'd put us at about 18 with the potential to climb quickly if we can prove ourselves worthy. OU no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to rankings. We are no longer a team that just reloads, but a team that is needing to be rebuilt.
