2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008

all had more run attempts than passes. several of those years had nearly 200 more rushing attempts than passes.

Fair enough, but 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 all had poor to fair QB play. I know I said "never" and that was a strong word, but I don't beleive OU is going to line up in the I and pound it or run some Tebowesque wildcat offense with Bell like a lot of people on this board believe.

Wow, that clarifies things. You've convinced me. Kissing my dream of a Bell-led, Tebow/Klein offense goodbye. We will continue to be a soft, finesse, **** offense. Sigh.

Landry made some throws look easy. Our current QBS are not ready for 30 passes a game. We are loaded at RB. Can the new OL coach make a difference. I think so. Spring practice reports should be interesting. Less hurry up and more ball control. We will actualy see some old fashioned option football with this group of QBS. In other words,a return to sanity. I think Stoops will coach more like Bill Snyder this year as opposed to Steve Spurrier. A serious running game with some play action will actualy make the WRS more explosive. More deep throws and I hear Bell excells at that.

Yep, I agree.. I'd sure like to see us develope a strong running game to go along with the p****.. I think it is needed but Bob doesn't OR he would make sure it happens.
