OU will run the ball a lot - expect to see way more Millard. Bell can throw it extremely well.

Anything that keeps the D off of the field I'm for. Running more does this, keeps the clock moving, and gets the buses started faster. I'm in.

Defend this. Bedenbaugh was mentored by Mike Leach for 7 years and coached two years under Dana Holgorsen (a Leach disciple). Add to that that Josh is also a Leach disciple, and the other co-coordinator (Norvell) is the receivers coach.

We're going to throw, throw it again, and throw it some more.

Exactly. He played for Hal Mumme in college.

all had more run attempts than passes. several of those years had nearly 200 more rushing attempts than passes.
Fair enough, but 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 all had poor to fair QB play. I know I said "never" and that was a strong word, but I don't beleive OU is going to line up in the I and pound it or run some Tebowesque wildcat offense with Bell like a lot of people on this board believe.

Wow, that clarifies things. You've convinced me. Kissing my dream of a Bell-led, Tebow/Klein offense goodbye. We will continue to be a soft, finesse, **** offense. Sigh.

I think Stoops will coach more like Bill Snyder this year as opposed to Steve Spurrier. A serious running game with some play action will actualy make the WRS more explosive. More deep throws and I hear Bell excells at that.
LOL, with Heupul as an OC? Wait on that one.....lol.

Yep, I agree.. I'd sure like to see us develope a strong running game to go along with the p****.. I think it is needed but Bob doesn't OR he would make sure it happens.
