I buy albums for that very reason. That's an experience that you miss in the digital world.
That and the sound quality (provided you actually take care of your vinyl) is better. You have to have a decent speaker setup though.
I still have my SL3200(Bought down on Campus Corner) and my 301's somewhere. My Marantz receive and Teac deck were not so lucky. I miss having my records around. I think they have a much better sound.

Well, last year had The Flaming Lips, Primus, and Willie Nelson.
Social D is nice, but the lineup seems a little meh this year.
Sorry homie Iggy, Social D, Of Monsters and Men, Geto Boys, Gogol Bordello are a better lineup than that.

Well, I didn't mention The Avett Brothers, Snoop Dogg, and The Descendents were there as well last year. This years fest may be more up your alley, taste wise, but the acts are, overall, not of the same gravity.

Flaming lips are vastly overrated...and hell Primus and FL played outside of Cain's together (were scheduled to at least)....you can catch Willie in 4 DIFFERENT casino stops in OK this month...and I have seen him multiple times...he gets progressively worse each time...but fun if you have never seen him.
At least once a year Snoop hits the LUcky star casino...

A co-worker told me that Tool was playing Rocklahoma but I cant find any confirmation. Anyone here hear any news, or is she full of chit?
Rocklahoma website has the lineup and Tool is not listed.
I'm going to see him in Houston on 3/16 and am looking forward to it. Wish I could have seen him sometime in the 1960s and 70s.
Surely the inteligencia here know more than the actual promoters.

I saw him late 70's and then a couple of times after that. Sometimes they get better with age.
