Butthurt Dominate Wide receivers are usually.....

Tall and well coordinated line the Beckam kid at Missouri. He had four TD catches and just out jumped the DB. We need that tall dominant type receiver. Looks like two tall ones are in the next recruiting class, but how dominate are they???

We need receivers in the seven to eight feet region who can jump out of their shoes because thats how high our qb throws it.....We have great receivers! We just don't have the qb to get it in their hands.

We have three tall WR's in the 2014 recruiting class. Also, Dannon Cavil will be coming off of a redshirt year next season.

Trey Metoyer should have been dominate with all that natural stick-em on his hands.

Ya the slot WRs are fun to watch but you can't have 4 of them on the field at the same time. Guys OU has are very good but OU does need a dominate big WR. And a ****ing TE would be nice too. Its going on 6 years since Gresham caught a ball at OU.

It continues to boggle my mind that we do not use a TE to throw to; I also think that makes us way easier to game plan against our offense knowing that we never use certain parts of the field

Even when you have tall, dominate receivers all over the field, you still have to have a QB that can get the ball to them.

    OU has neither right now.

What we need is tall dominate linemen who can block for our running backs. And while we're at it, let's get some tall dominate defensive linemen too.

Have counted maybe 2 short slants over the middle in the last 2 years, maybe 3 if I missed one. Other teams seem to use that play regularly.

The slip screen, the shovel pass to either Finch or Millard like Florida used to run a lot, the I-formation, the tight end position and play-action rollouts are things we *could have* done the last few years but refused to do so. We added more bubble screens, shotgun-based run plays and no true gameplan to let a QB manage. Couple X's and O's fail with confusion, no common sense in the booth and injuries to key playmakers and Wilson's foundation he left Herp and Norvell with has been ruined.
I agree with the Dick. Our guys are all talented SLOT receivers. Possession receivers. We need to not only be more physical and conventional at the point of attack but also downfield. The downfield passing is much easier when guys like Gresham, Kelly, Chaney, etc. can get downfield.

Nothing good comes from Bell throwing to the middle of the field.
